Regency Mahogany twin pedestal dining table ca 1820 This striking antique Regency Mahogany twin pedestal dining table consists of two d ends and central removable leaf. The top is cross banded, has ebony string inlay, has a reeded edge and brass clips to hold it together securely. The table stands on two beautifully turned pedestals with tripod splayed legs, has boxwood string inlay and brass acanthus leaf casters. The table has later adjustments, is a warm rich red mahogany colour, has striking grain, good patina, and is in good condition, which has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. C1830 William IV period stunning solid mahogany elegant centre pedestal sofa/dining table with excellent size and proportions.

Circa 1830 stunning William IV period solid (not veneered) mahogany very versatile table with two drop leaves, one false plus one working frieze drawer, standing on a superb spiral twist turned pedestal with four carved and splayed legs and original fluted brass capped feet and castors. Size is 41 inches wide by 52 inches long when open, and about 24 inches when flaps are down. Height is 28.5 inches. It is a superb size for dining, with the centre pedestal causing no interference with chairs and legs. It also makes a wonderful sofa table. An excellent example of the period, in excellent condition, with wonderful colour, ready to use in any room.
