Offered for sale is this superb quality round Victorian oak dining table, 48" diameter extending to 94" x 48" with three leaves. The round top has a moulded carved edge above turned and carved supports with origial brass and ceramic castors. The extending mechanism is of exceptional quality with double mahogany runners and the standard Joseph Fitter patented system and works very smoothly and comes complete with original handle. The table has been cleaned and sympathetically repolished whilst retaining its original character. It is in excellent showroom condition. This unusual table, probably French, has three original leaves and finely carved cabriole legs. It retains the original patina and the colour is good with not too much variation between the leaves. There are marks of wear and tear but it could be refinished if required. 117" x 49"
