1930s DECO SUGAR OR CANDY HOLDER WITH GLASS LINER |
| NEW. A stylish Deco plated sugar or candy holder, with a relief patterned handle and fitted glass liner. The upper holder section is decorated with a band of relief stylised fan designs, the lower section is tapered and recessed on a stepped circular base. The edge of the glass liner is cut with a band of half ovals. Condition: small flux or finishing mark on the underside of the base; some light rubbing to the plate; minor age and use wear, undamaged - if you have any questions about this item, contact me. | Sheffield 1905 solid English hallmarked silver set of Art Nouveau twin handled tea service comprising sugar bowl, cream jug, and sugar tongs in original shaped fitted case by very good makers James Deakin and Sons, and retailed by famous retailer Hamilton and Co. of India.
Graceful flowing repousse design is complemented by original gilt interiors. The boat shape of the sugar bowl, and helmet shape of the jug are lovely.
Sizes-jug 3.74 inches wide by 2.5 inches high; sugar bowl 5 inches wide by 2.75 high; sugar tongs 3.5 inches long.
All are enclosed in the original shaped and fitted case, with the only blemish being the silk in the interior lid of the case is foxed, which can be easily changed.

| London 1875 solid English hallmarked silver large pair-a two handled sugar bowl, and cream jug by Robert Hennel, famous maker.
The pair have lovely all over bright cut engraving, including on the handles, interesting shapes, and are heavy at 430 grams.
There are cartouches to each side, one being vacant, and one bearing Laura 1876.
Sugar bowl is 7.5 inches wide by 3 inches high.
Cream jug is 6 inches wide by 3 inches high.

Unusual Silver Plate Sugar Bowl and Sifter Spoon |
| This beautiful silver plate sugar bowl and matching sifter spoon are by the famous silversmiths the Atkin Brothers of Sheffield, and was manufactured pre-1925.
The sugar bowl stands on a shallow foot, has a fixed handle and fluted body with gilt interior. The matching sifter spoon also has a gilt bowl. The sugar bowl measures 4.75" (12cm) in diameter, and the height of the body is 2.25" (6cm), the height to the top of the handle is 5" (12.5cm). The spoon measures 4" (10cm) long.
Both items are in excellent condition. The base of the sugar bowl is clearly marked HA EA FA and a hand holding a Prince of Wales feathers. The spoon is also marked HA EA FA.
What a delightful item for sprinkling sugar over your strawberries or dessert!

| A striking and large, swirled green-grey malachite, pressed glass pedestal sugar bowl, with a wavy edge rim, ribbed lower section and cord decorated base. The bowl is relief moulded with the national floral emblems of the British Isles. | A very pretty footed bowl, quite possibly for sugar, with a ball knop stem and conical foot. The bowl is delightfully decorated with a wide, slightly surface proud (probably acid etched) band of continuous palm trees, tall multi head flowers, grasses, and several exotic birds.
