| A late 19th century French quarter striking Petit sonnerie polished brass Anglaise Riche cased carriage clock by Richard, the heavily cast polished brass case with half fluted columns and locking type top carrying handle, the case still retaining all its original thickly cut and bevelled crystal glasses which are all in a perfect condition, the quarter striking on two gongs 8-day French signed and numbered movement striking the hours and quarters on two gongs with original large size English lever platform escapement and fully cut BI-metallic balance, movement signed by Richard, the satin gilt pierced mask dial inset with a white enamel background with black Arabic numerals and blued steel moon type hands, circa 1890-1900 8” x 4” x 3” ½
