Stickback Windsor Chair 1800's |
| An attractive stickback windsor chair, dating from the 1800's. It measures 17.75" to the seat, and to the top of the back is 37.5".
The chair is in very good condition, with one old repair made to the seat at the back right hand side. It is very well done, and is hard to spot. The colour of the chair is good, and there is no worm and no evidence that there ever has been. I am not sure of the wood, though the seat could be fruitwood. There is no damage to the turned sticks of the chair back, and the legs are jointed firmly into the underside of the seat.
A handsome kitchen chair which would enhance any traditional type kitchen.
