Inlaid MAHOGANY dressing table and washstand

Inlaid MAHOGANY dressing table and washstand C1900. These two pieces by Maples and Co have been made to the highest quality being cross banded in tulip wood. The mirror, marble top and handles are original. They have been repolished to a rich mahogany colour. Each measuring 54" wide - £2300 for the two pieces. Stock No.BR4785

Edwardian Serpentine Front Side / Writing Table ca 1900 This beautiful elegant antique Edwardian mahogany side / writing table has a serpentine moulded top above one over two oak lined serpentine shaped drawers with cross banding, flamed mahogany centres, ebony string inlay and original brass handles. The piece stands on four splayed legs , is a rich , warm, medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. The piece has two frieze drawers with cross banding and brass pull handles, stands on four tapering legs, some later restorations, is a rich golden mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. Antique Regency Inlaid Mahogany Sofa Table ca 1830 This beautiful antique Regency inlaid mahogany sofa table has two drop leaves with intricate Grecian banding around the edges. The piece has two frieze drawers on both sides (one side has faux drawers) with original turned knobs, ivory key escutcheons and brass banding. The piece has scrolled side supports (two old repairs), stands on splayed legs with brass castors, beautifully turned cross stretchers and intricate ebony inlaid sections. The piece is a rich medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
