A large Staffordshire Pearlware figure group the Widow of Zarephath,C1820

This very early an interesting group is in very nice condition for a piece over 185 years old, with some minor chips. No hairlines, cracks or restoration. 10 ins high.

PAIR EARLY C20th STAFFORDSHIRE GREYHOUND WHIPPET FIGURES

An excellent pair of greyhounds - often called whippets - standing on oval rustic painted bases with additional relief fern sprays. The dogs have gilt collars, and hares lie at their feet. Both bases are embellished with gilt bands. Condition: colour refreshed to the collar of one dog; stress line to the base of one dog's back leg, stress line to one base edge; minor wear commensurate with age; nothing further found; mould definition good - if you have any questions about this item, contact me. FINE c.1854 STAFFORDSHIRE FIGURE QUEEN EMPEROR

A fine and scarce, well painted portrait figure of Queen Victoria and Napoleon III. The Queen stands in court dress with an ermine trimmed cloak and crown, Napoleon stands bare headed, with a magenta cloak, military dress and sword. the title "Queen Emperor" is relief moulded and picked out in gilt on the oval base. c.1880 STAFFORDSHIRE BABES IN THE WOOD & ANGEL FIGURE

A charming polychrome spill vase depicting the Babes in the Wood asleep on a rocky knoll. The pair are watched over by a winged angel holding what appears to be a round hat. A colourful bird is perched on the other side of the spill. The piece is further embellished with grass extrusions and a rococo style base painted with pink and gilt highlights. 1870 STAFFORDSHIRE PRINCE OF WALES PRINCESS OF DENMARK

A charming Staffordshire figure of the Princess of Wales and his fiancee the Princess of Denmark standing arm in arm. The Prince wears a dark aquamarine long jacket over a patterned cravat, and a purple edged and buttoned waistcoat with a gold watch chain. He holds a grey top hat in his right hand. The Princess wear an edge trimmed white jacket over a ribbed blouse, full length pink skirt trimmed with a black band, and a yellow bonnet trimmed with an orange bow. An excellent Staffordshire stag and hound spill figure, featuring a fleeing stag with imposing antlers and short stub tail before a tree shaped spill, being pursued by a black and white hound with lolling red tongue. The rocky outcrop setting is embellished with grass extrusion trails and clumps. The base is embellished with a line of soft gilding. c1850 RARE PR. NUMBER "6" STAFFORDSHIRE SPANIEL FIGURES

A delightful pair of hard to find, relief marked, size number "6" Staffordshire Comforter Spaniels, with expressive, very well painted faces. The dogs have nicely feathered tan brown coats, black paws, and gilded collars. The same pottery produced a set of marked spaniels, "1" being the tallest at 12¾in/32.4cms, and "6" being the smallest at 5½in/14cm. FINE c.1870 STAFFORDSHIRE SPANIELS ON BARREL FIGURE

An excellent Staffordshire group of two alert spaniels, the one chained to a large wooden barrel with a long black chain. The barrel has four black hoops and lies on a green bank. The dogs are well moulded and carefully painted with good feathering; there are traces of gilding around the collars and around the base.
