Royal Staffordshire Pottery Sauce Tureen and Ladle 1895-1910

A very pretty and decorative sauce tureen and matching ladle by Royal Staffordshire Pottery (Thomas Hughes), made between 1895 and 1910. It is in the attractive 'Cornflower' pattern, and both tureen and ladle are in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or wear to the pattern. The tureen measures 9" long by 4.5" wide, and the ladle measures 7" in length with the diameter of the bowl measuring 3". Very often the ladles are missing from sauce tureens, or are damaged, especially the handles, so it is rare to find both tureen and ladle in such good condition. Please see ref. P0001, 0002 and 0003 for items of the same pattern.
