London 1893 lovely pair of foliate engraved silver spoons by Robert Pringle, in original crimson lined case.  

London 1893 Victorian set of two English hallmarked solid silver foliate engraved spoons, made by Robert Pringle, in original gilt embellished crimson lined case. With beautifully shaped bowls, having sharp points. To be used for preserves, jelly, or whatever you like. Size-5.9 inches long by 1.4 inches wide. Weight-50 grams. A really lovely pair of spoons, in an excellent case. Both case and spoons are in very good condition. These would make a lovely presentation as a gift, or a very functional set for your own use.

20th century unusual and striking solid silver and enamel Norwegian large caddy spoon by Magnus Aase.  

20th century large and unusual solid silver and enamel Norwegian caddy spoon by well known maker Magnus Aase of Bergen, Norway. Magnus Aase was active from 1876-1953. This spoon was likely made around WWII. Much silver with enamel was made in the 20th century for export, as there was quite a strong emphasis on enamel. This .925 fineness silver spoon has a striking blue leafy enamel pattern to the stem, a wide bowl, and is in excellent condition. Size-4.5 inches long by 1.75 inches wide bowl. Weight- 40 grams.

Silver Manchester Regiment Spoon  

A silver Manchester Regiment spoon, carrying the maker's mark MN & WB for Mappin and Webb and hallmarks for Birmingham 1932. The handle is in the form of crossed rifles, surmounted by a Fleur de Lys, the regimental badge, beneath which is insribed LXIII (for 63rd of foot) and "MANCHESTER REGT" in silver on a blue enamel base. Length: 4.75 in / 12 cm

Sheffield 1922 pair of solid silver unusual fox and maltese cross spoons in original case.  

Sheffield 1922 pair of unusual English hallmarked solid silver spoons made and retailed by F.J. Ross and Sons of Winchester. The stems terminate with a double struck figural fox to one, and a Maltese Cross to the other, over tear drop shaped bowls. In the original fitted case, they are in very good condition. The case has one loose hinge which does not interfere with closure. Weight-45 grams. Size-6 inches long by 1.4 inches wide bowls. A very nice pair of spoons, most suitable for preserves or sauces.

London 1937 very unusual nearly mint condition solid silver trefid end cold meat serving fork and serving spoon by Thomas Bradbury and Sons, and retailed by Gilmer of Bath, in original fitted case.  

London 1937 English hallmarked solid silver very unusual set of trefid ended cold meat fork and serving spoon, made by very good makers Thomas Bradbury and Sons, and retailed by Gilmer of Bath. Extremely thick and heavy gauge of silver, with large clear hallmarks, and retailer stamp to stem sides as well. In nearly mint condition, contained in striking blue gilt embellished original fitted case, lined with silk and black velvet. All pieces appearing to have had little if any use in 71 years! Weight-180 grams. Size-fork 8.25 inches long; spoon 8.5 inches long by 2 inches wide. A lovely, practical and unusual gift, or to use for oneself.
