20th century unusual and striking solid silver and enamel Norwegian large caddy spoon by Magnus Aase.

20th century large and unusual solid silver and enamel Norwegian caddy spoon by well known maker Magnus Aase of Bergen, Norway. Magnus Aase was active from 1876-1953. This spoon was likely made around WWII. Much silver with enamel was made in the 20th century for export, as there was quite a strong emphasis on enamel. This .925 fineness silver spoon has a striking blue leafy enamel pattern to the stem, a wide bowl, and is in excellent condition. Size-4.5 inches long by 1.75 inches wide bowl. Weight- 40 grams.

Silver Manchester Regiment Spoon

A silver Manchester Regiment spoon, carrying the maker's mark MN & WB for Mappin and Webb and hallmarks for Birmingham 1932. The handle is in the form of crossed rifles, surmounted by a Fleur de Lys, the regimental badge, beneath which is insribed LXIII (for 63rd of foot) and "MANCHESTER REGT" in silver on a blue enamel base. Length: 4.75 in / 12 cm

Sheffield 1922 pair of solid silver unusual fox and maltese cross spoons in original case.

Sheffield 1922 pair of unusual English hallmarked solid silver spoons made and retailed by F.J. Ross and Sons of Winchester. The stems terminate with a double struck figural fox to one, and a Maltese Cross to the other, over tear drop shaped bowls. In the original fitted case, they are in very good condition. The case has one loose hinge which does not interfere with closure. Weight-45 grams. Size-6 inches long by 1.4 inches wide bowls. A very nice pair of spoons, most suitable for preserves or sauces.

London 1937 English hallmarked solid silver very unusual set of trefid ended cold meat fork and serving spoon, made by very good makers Thomas Bradbury and Sons, and retailed by Gilmer of Bath. Extremely thick and heavy gauge of silver, with large clear hallmarks, and retailer stamp to stem sides as well. In nearly mint condition, contained in striking blue gilt embellished original fitted case, lined with silk and black velvet. All pieces appearing to have had little if any use in 71 years! Weight-180 grams. Size-fork 8.25 inches long; spoon 8.5 inches long by 2 inches wide. A lovely, practical and unusual gift, or to use for oneself.

London 1870 superb solid silver gilt afternoon tea cutlery service by famous maker HENRY HOLLAND.

London 1870 English hallmarked solid silver gilt most unusual afternoon tea cutlery service by very famous spoon maker Henry Holland, comprising three pieces in the original fitted case. The pieces comprise both long and short handled caddy spoons, and a matching pair of sugar nips. With original gilding, the cast elegant pierced and twisted stems are designed with figures to both top and bottom. There is a fine feathered rat tail to the ovoid bowls. Very clear hallmarks. The pieces are contained in the original blue lined velvet case. Weight-75 grams. Sizes-long handled caddy spoon 4.75 inches long by 1.4 inches wide; short handled caddy spoon 4 inches long by 1.25 inches wide; sugar nips 4.75 inches long. A rare set in excellent condition, having had little use in their lifetime.

Of excellent quality, with crisp hallmarks, and very defined rat tails, these spoons were made in the 20th century, but in the 17th century style. Presented in original fitted red leather case on striking purple velvet lined interior. Original pale gilding remains in bowl interiors. Weight-95 grams. Size-7.5 inches long by 2 inch wide bowls. A lovely and practical pair to give as a gift or to keep. In excellent condition.

Hester Bateman georgian silver table spoon – very clear hallmark

This is a silver table spoon hallmarked 1779 and by the great Hester Bateman. It is in the Hanovarian pattern with uplifted terminal. There are initials on the back of the terminal – EDLI. Condition: Excellent. No dents splits nicks or repairs. The bowl is undented and the bowl edges are sharp and clean. One side of the bowl is very slightly worn, no doubt from stirring pots at some time during its life. The hallmarks, including the makers mark, are clear and sharp. This is a lovely pair of silver salad servers hallmarked 1908. They have fluted and foliate embossed bowls and are in superb condition. They are in the Old English pattern. This is a pair of very heavy good quality Georgian silver table spoons hallmarked 1833. They are of the Kings pattern design and are double struck, and shell backs to the bowls. Early Spoon Rack

A Late 18th/ Early 19th Century Fruitwood Spoon Rack, the back board with a scrolled pediment and sides, and fitted with two moulded front spoon holders. The lower section with a box with hinged rising lid. Dimensions: 61cm high/ 36cm wide/ 14cm deep. Condition: Good througout, very nice thing.

London 1808-1813, set of 6 George III period English hallmarked solid silver fiddle pattern dessert spoons with "P" monogram, in very good condition. Size- approximately 7 inches long, and weight 203 grams. Two spoons are very slightly shorter than the rest. A lovely and very useful set of spoons for dessert or soup.
