Matching Pair of Aug Moureau Cold Painted Spelter Figures This beautiful matching pair of cold painted spelter figures are by the famous French sculptor Aug Moureau and are signed on the back of each figure dating to 1900. They stand on impressive ebonised bases and depict shepherd girl and boy. The boy with horn in one hand and carrying an anvil over his shoulder , full of character and dressed in well defined clothing. The maiden in simple country dress carrying a basket holding a single rose, both with good patination and in lovely condition for their age. Fine quality and nicely aged.
