A CHARMING & BEAUTIFULL Lowestoft sparrowbeak jug |
| Note the Lowestoft 'kick' to the base of the handle, and this is ONLY found on Lowestoft.
This is one of 7 pieces from my private collection. All are in BEAUTIFULL condition, with no chips, cracks or restorations. This is quite rare for Lowestoft, as most of what we see is damaged or restored. |
A GOOD Worcester sparrowbeak jug, C.1770. |
| A GOOD Worcester sparrowbeak jug, C.1770. My photos have lightened this a bit, as it is a darker blue in real life, and I think nicer. I am not quite sure wether it is the fence or 3 flowers patterns. LOVELY CONDITION, with just a nibble to the end of the spout, otherwise perfect. Fully marked to the underside with the Worcester hatched crescent mark. I ask a fraction of what I have seen one of these sell for. |
CHARMING Liverpool sparrowbeak jug, C,1775. |
| CHARMING Liverpool sparrowbeak jug, C,1775. I could be wrong as this has a rather Lowestoft look to it. Redgrave pattern? but the shape does not seem quite right for Lowestoft. Whatever, the jug is in EXCELLENT condition, with only a tiny single crack to the handle, otherwise perfect. |
A SUPERB Worcester KAKIEMON sparrowbeak jug,C.1760 |
| What lovely EARLY enamels to this, as I have come across jugs a little like this before, but this is the best I have seen. Note the Japanese Mon flower, and those Famile Verte flowers. Amazingly EXCELLENT condition, with no chips, cracks or restorations. |
