very fine early 19th century mahogany sofa table. The single piece top with caddy mouldings in the solid. Below are a very thin pair of frieze drawers, retaining their original locks. The whole sits upon a trestle base with graduating flared out sides. This table is exceptional quality and is in totally untouched original condition throughout. Wonderful patination. No excuses needed.

Weird but wonderful chineese drop leaf table , similar in size to the English sofa table. Make in walnut with a carved border similar to a greek key and faux bamboo edge. The frieze is profusely carved with dragons and symbols, whilst the legs are stamped with scales terminating in dragons. Circa 1900-2d Height 30" width 37.5" depth 23"

Games table

Continental oak games table, standing on cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. Festoons and fruit are carved on the front frieze , whilst having a draw at either end. The top is inlaid with a chess board , which lifts to reveal more storage area. Ideal either as a sofa or occasional table. Circa 1880 height 31" width 42" depth 25"

Victorian Antique Rosewood Sofa Table ca 1860 This beautiful small Victorian antique continental rosewood sofa table has a serpentine top with two drop leaves which are supported by swing brackets. The front and back are serpentine shaped and the front has a mahogany lined drawer with a key and working lock. The four outer corners have turned finials and the piece has four beautifully turned reeded upright supports. The piece stands on four beautiful scrolled carved legs with brass and wood casters and a turned reeded stretcher. The piece is a rich dark rosewood colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good original condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. C1830 William IV period stunning solid mahogany elegant centre pedestal sofa/dining table with excellent size and proportions.

Circa 1830 stunning William IV period solid (not veneered) mahogany very versatile table with two drop leaves, one false plus one working frieze drawer, standing on a superb spiral twist turned pedestal with four carved and splayed legs and original fluted brass capped feet and castors. Size is 41 inches wide by 52 inches long when open, and about 24 inches when flaps are down. Height is 28.5 inches. It is a superb size for dining, with the centre pedestal causing no interference with chairs and legs. It also makes a wonderful sofa table. An excellent example of the period, in excellent condition, with wonderful colour, ready to use in any room.
