Sofa

A recently re-upholstered & restored late Victorian Sofa in the Regency-style. The legs are Mahogany with Ball & Claw Feet. The upholstery is in a Broad Stripe Damask in a Coral shade with four Feather-filled cushions in a matching flower damask material. The Sofa is Circa 1890 and can be viewed in our showrooms at Craycombe Farm Antiques & Interiors, Fladbury, Worcs. WR10 2QS.

Antique Regency Inlaid Mahogany Sofa Table ca 1830 This beautiful antique Regency inlaid mahogany sofa table has two drop leaves with intricate Grecian banding around the edges. The piece has two frieze drawers on both sides (one side has faux drawers) with original turned knobs, ivory key escutcheons and brass banding. The piece has scrolled side supports (two old repairs), stands on splayed legs with brass castors, beautifully turned cross stretchers and intricate ebony inlaid sections. The piece is a rich medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. Gillows Regency Upholstered Mahogany Sofa ca 1820 This beautiful antique Regency upholstered mahogany sofa / settee is attributed to ‘Gillows of Lancaster’. The piece has a beautiful scrolled carved centre piece and a shaped moulded back edge. The piece stands on beautiful turned reeded legs, has shaped arms, a buttoned squab, two bolster cushions and the piece has been newly upholstered in a neutral oatmeal quality English fabric. The piece is a rich dark mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. very fine early 19th century mahogany sofa table. The single piece top with caddy mouldings in the solid. Below are a very thin pair of frieze drawers, retaining their original locks. The whole sits upon a trestle base with graduating flared out sides. This table is exceptional quality and is in totally untouched original condition throughout. Wonderful patination. No excuses needed.
