Pair Art Nouveau Silver & Glass Bud Vases.  

Pair of Art Nouveau glass bud vases; the clear glass vases having typical green highlighting of the period, with silver collars at their tops. The maker is a well regarded manufacturer of this period and of this type of article. Pretty and highly collectable. Birmingham. 1910. A. W. Pennington. Height 16cm.

London 1927 solid silver and cut glass unusual pair of cylinder vases.  

London 1927 most unusual large pair of cut glass and English hallmarked solid silver cylinder vases made by William Gardener Groves, and very evocative of their era. Beautiful thumb, diamond, and star cuts to glass catch the light, while the silver tops gleam. Also having star cut bases. Size-8.25 inches high by nearly 3 inches in diameter. In very good condition with just some minor marking to silver tops. Wonderful to obtain a pair. They would make a lovely gift or a practical item to use.

London 1902 wonderful pair of solid English hallmarked silver specimen vases by Charles Boyton and Sons, famous makers of the aesthetic period. 8 inches tall by 3.5 inches wide, these make an impressive statement. Both the scalloped top and the base have foliate chased and applied edges, and the tapered stem has a ball column above the base. A beautiful pair of vases in excellent condition.

A delightful pair of antique continental silver cast openwork vases, each on three legs with ram's mask and figural decoration and blue glass liners. These are of good weight and quality, as well as being extremely attractive. Import Mark- London. 1903. Height 16cm.

Pair of Late 19c Electrotype 2-Handled Classical Vases with polished brass handles and liners. The sides with flowering and fruiting branches and insects. These antique silver-plated subjects were produced in the late Victorian period and were almost always copies of Greek or Roman treasures. Highly collectable and also beautiful decorative items. c.1880. Height 22cm

Sterling silver vase  

A sterling silver vase hallmarked for Sheffield 1949 by the well known firm of Mappin & Web. Good marks and in good condition. Height 5.5ins (3.5cms)
