Pair Silver Sauce Boats & Ladles.  

Pair of silver sauce boats and matching ladles; the sauce boats are of plain bellied form with wavy-edge rims, each on three hoof feet. The plain Old English pattern sauce ladles are of the same date and maker as the sauce boats, which is rare. Top quality by a well-regarded maker, a super set to own and enjoy. Sheffield. 1927. Martin Hall & Co. Ltd. Length of each sauce boat 14.5cm.

Good size silver sauce boat; of bellied form on three hoof feet, fine C-scroll handle and wavy-edge rim. Birmingham. 1934. S. Blanckensee & Sons. Ltd. Length 16cm.

Sheffield 1949 solid silver sauce boat by WALKER AND HALL.  

Sheffield 1949 solid English hallmarked silver sauce boat on pedestal base, and with threaded scalloped rim. In excellent condition, generous size, and by famous maker. Size-5.75 inches long by 3.75 inches wide by 3.5 inches high.

Chester 1906 solid silver unusual shaped sauce boat by WALKER AND HALL.  

Chester 1906 solid English hallmarked silver sauce boat with quadrafoil shape, stylish split handle, and gadrooned edge, on claw feet, by very good maker Walker and Hall. Good weight at 140 grams, and in very good condition. Size-6.5 inches long by 3.25 inches wide by 3.5 inches high, including handle. An unusual and very attractive antique from a very collectable assay office, and by a famous maker.

Sheffield 1907 solid silver pair of sauce boats made by JAMES DIXON AND SONS.  

Sheffield 1907 solid English hallmarked silver large pair of sauce boats by James Dixon and Sons, very good makers. Very elegant design, in the Georgian style, with beaded edge, high leaf and flower head embellished handle, and acanthus topped cast feet. Size 7.75 inches long by 4 inches high. A fine pair weighing 495 grams, of very good quality and weight, and in excellent condition.

Chester Silver Sauceboat 1921  

This elegant solid silver sauceboat was manufactured by the Barker Brothers, and assayed in Chester in 1921. It is in the George II style, and stands on three hoofed feet. It measures 6" (15cm) long and 3" (7.5cm) high. There are no dents, dings or compression damage to it, and no monograms or engraving, and never have been. It is in excellent condition and would make a nice addition to anyone's silver collection or would enhance anyone's dining table or sideboard. NEW PRICE! £80.00 Reduced from £95.00
