Victorian silver salver by W & J Barnard – 13 inches, 32 oz |
| This is a very good large heavy quality Victorian silver salver hallmarked 1895 and by the top Victorian silversmiths Walter & John Barnard. It is 13” in diameter and is of a very good gauge of silver. The salver has a plain centre with a crest, and a superb gadrooned and shell border. The salver stands on four tall hoof feet.
Condition: Excellent. No dents nicks or repairs and no scratching the plain silver surfaces. The crest is very slightly worn, but not bad.
Dimensions: 13” (32.5 cm) in diameter. 1 ½” (4 cm) high.

Quality pierced silver dish by Walker & Hall |
| This exquisite pierced silver dish is by the top makers Walker and Hall and is of the highest quality being of a very good gauge of silver and weighing in at an excellent 8 ½ oz. It is hallmarked 1935. The dish has a plain central surface surrounded by a wide pierced and chased band of flowers. The outer cast rim is decorated with foliage.
Condition: Excellent. There are no dents nicks splits or repairs, and just a minimal amount of scratching to the plain central surface.
Dimensions: 6 ¾” (17.5 cm) in diameter

Georgian George II silver salver - 1735 |
| This is a very nice 1735 George II small silver salver or waiter with a piecrust rim and crest to the centre. It stands on 3 hoof feet.
Condition: Very good. No dents or splits and a nice polished surface. The hallmarks are a little worn but still clearly visible.

19thC excellent quality Victorian silverplate salver. |
| 19th century Victorian salver, made by William Wheatcroft Harrison of Sheffield, England, and made in the period from 1857-1896, the only period this mark was used.
It is a round salver with a pie crust Georgian style cast and applied beaded edge with leaf accents, and stands on cast and applied ball and claw feet. There is a vacant engraved cartouche to the centre, that is engraved with scrolls and leaves .
Size-10 3/8 inches diameter, and about 1 inch high.
It is very good quality, and has good weight. It would be lovely to use for serving, and for drinks. |
SOLID SILVER SALVER 1884 W & G SISSONS |
| A fine Victorian silver salver made by the illustrious London firm of William & George Sissons. The salver was hallmarked in 1884, and measures 10.25" in diameter, and weighs 15 troy ounces. It is in excellent condition, with no distortion or damage to the piercing.
It is beautifully decorated with a raised wavy beaded edge enclosing a pierced border decorated with scrolling leaf and vine pattern. The recessed centre of the salver bears a crest of a dragon above a scroll bearing the words 'De Crevi'. The salver stands on three ball and claw feet.
Pierced border salvers of this type are very rare, and this fine example of the silversmith's art would enhance anyone's home or collection.

SILVER SALVER 1778 R. RUGG |
| This beautiful George III silver salver was manufactured in London in 1778 by Richard Rugg, who was considered to be one of the best salver makers in London at that time.
It measures 10" (25.5cm) in diameter, and weighs a substantial 19.83 troy ounces (617 grams).
The salver is beautifully made, has crisp and clear hallmarks and maker's mark on the reverse. It has a beaded gadrooned border and within is contemporary foliate engraving, whilst the centre of the salver bears a ducal or crest coronet with a phoenix rising from it. The salver stands on three ball and claw feet. It is in excellent condition, with just a few surface marks commensurate with age.
Salvers by this sought-after eighteenth century silversmith do not often come onto the market, and as such, this is a very rare and highly collectable piece of Georgian silver. |

| Birmingham 1933 fine quality solid English hallmarked silver salver with gadroon and shell decorated and shaped edge, and standing on paw feet.
Family inscription and crest to centre could be easily buffed off if desired, as silver is thick in gauge.
Weighs a heavy 350 grams, and measures 8.25 inches in diameter.
This salver, made by very good makers Barker Brothers, is very good value, and is in excellent condition. |

| Birmingham 1859 beautiful solid English hallmarked silver all original salver by superior maker Elkington.
Original Elkington design of radiating scrolled leaves with armorial crest of eagle in centre and a thick gadrooned edge standing on three cast shell feet.
10.25 inches in diameter by 1.25 inches high, and weighing a heavy 615 grams.

| Birmingham 1971 very good quality solid English hallmarked silver salver in original case, made to commemorate the silver wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip.
It is quite heavy at 290 grams, measures 8.25 inches in diameter, and has the royal coat of arms engraved to centre, and gadroon edging around the diameter.
It was made by female silversmith Hazel Hardy of Cambrian Hall, Birmingham.
It is presented in the lovely aubergine leather original case with a gilt royal crest, and similar colour lining.
All in mint condition. |
London 1914 large solid silver salver |
| London 1914 solid English hallmarked silver salver in the Chippendale style and standing on three cast scrolled feet. Makers are Johnson, Walker and Tolhurst. This beautiful salver is crafted in a very thick guage of silver, making the salver exceptionally heavy at 36 ounces! There is a monogram to centre, which can be easily removed if desired.
Size is 12.5 inches in diameter, or 32 cm.
A lovely large classic shaped salver in very good condition.
