VICTORIAN SILVER PLATE COFFEE POT |
| This elegant silver plate coffee pot is electro plated Britannia metal, and dates from circa 1855 - 1870. The base is clearly marked 'EPBM'.
The coffee pot is in the Georgian style and measures 8.5" to the top of the finial. It is in excellent condition, with a minimal amount of wear at the base of the handle, commensurate with age, but with no wear to the body of the coffee pot. The hinged lid fits well, with no play on the hinge, and the pot is very clean inside, wtih no staining, and could be used today for the purpose for which it was designed.
This beautiful antique would enhance a traditional or modern interior. |
