Sheffield 1895 solid English hallmarked silver childs or Christening mug by famous makers Mappin and Webb. This Victorian mug has a classic shape, and an interesting family crest. Of good weight, it is in very good condition.

London 1770 solid English hallmarked silver childs or Christening mug in baluster form with leaf capped scroll handle, and foliate and scroll decoration to sides. Extremely clear hallmarks. Made by James Young, and weighs a heavy 100 grams, this mug is in excellent condition, and has great age.
Stands 3.25 inches high by 3.25 inches wide including handle.

An elegant silver mug - possibly christening type - with an everted rim, and banded and plain section body on a pedestal base. The mug has a finely engraved anthemion handle, a repousée anthemion band to the upper section, and repousée flute banding to the lower section.
