Antique Silver Soup Ladle.  

Geo.III silver soup ladle; Old English Brightcut pattern with very clear, deep hallmarks at the bottom of the handle near the bowl. The brightcut decoration is nice and crisp; a good piece. London. 1779. Maker CH (See Jacksons page 215.) Length 32cm.

Pair Silver Sauce Boats & Ladles.  

Pair of silver sauce boats and matching ladles; the sauce boats are of plain bellied form with wavy-edge rims, each on three hoof feet. The plain Old English pattern sauce ladles are of the same date and maker as the sauce boats, which is rare. Top quality by a well-regarded maker, a super set to own and enjoy. Sheffield. 1927. Martin Hall & Co. Ltd. Length of each sauce boat 14.5cm.

A small, pretty ladle believed to be Portuguese  

A very pretty small ladle in softly gilded silver, the front engraved with leaves surmounted by a coat of arms and a Crown finial. The bowl embossed with a floral design. Three marks on the unadorned back of the handle - the central one being the image of a seated boar. The marks appear to be Portuguese c.1881-1938 Length 4.75ins Excellent condition.

London 1823 solid silver pair of sauce ladles by George Pearson.  

London 1823 Georgian solid English hallmarked silver pair of fiddle pattern sauce ladles by George Pearson. 6.5 inches long and 125 grams. Very clear hallmarks, and 185 years old! With excellent weight, colour and condition.

Pair W. Bateman Sauce Ladles 1816  

This Beautiful pair of matching sauce ladles was manufactured in London in 1816 by the prestigious and highly sought-after silversmith William Bateman. They measure 6.5" (16.5cm) long and together weigh a substantial 105 grams. The hallmarks are extremely crisp and clear, with no wear to them. They are in excellent condition, with no repairs, and are not monogrammed and never have been. As all serious collectors of silver will know, William Bateman is the most desirable of the Bateman family. These classically elegant ladles would enhance anyone's table or silver collection.

George IV silver toddy ladle with twisted whalebone handle. Lovely hallmarks which is unusual for one of these items. London. 1824. George Knight. Length 22cm.

Geo III silver OE pattern cream ladle  

A silver ladle from the reign of George III. In old English pattern, with a long, slightly curved and elegant handle engraved with initials at the top front. Larger than usual bowl with traces of gilding. Could be called a cream ladle. Excellent hallmarks for London 1814, maker's mark 'TpelletB' in a rectangular punch with canted corners. Length 4.5ins (11.3cms)

Geo III silver creamladle  

A small collectable & useful small silver item in the form of a Geo III cream ladle. In Old English pattern, with a pointed heel to the back of the bowl and very good marks for London 1806. Maker's mark TJ. Contemporary monogram engraved at the top of the handle 'EEC'. Small ladles of this kind are quite thin on the ground

Victorian silver Kings Husk pattern condiment ladle   

A Victorian silver condiment ladle in the beautiful Kings husk pattern. Double struck, and hallmarked for London 1875, maker George Adams. Length 4.75ins (12cms) Traces of original crest and initials on the front. In good, heavy silver.
