1895 PINCH FORM DECANTER CARAFE FLASK, SILVER COLLAR  

NEW. A handsome decanter with a clear ball stopper, and spreading four point sterling silver collar. The body is pinched closed on all sides resulting in a rounded top section, waisted middle section with four hollow corner tubes, and a squared lower section. Condition: one or two natural specks in the glass; light age and use wear; some bloom to the interior; no damage found; wide, indented and polished pontil - if you have any questions about this item, contact me. The silver collar hallmarked for Birmingham 1895, maker's mark rubbed. 11½in/29.2cm high including stopper.

Snuff box, silver wine funnel and claret jug.  

Fine quality Birmingham silver claret jug 1876 (£695), a wine funnel of London silversmith, Charles Fox 1831 (£695), and a silver and shell snuff box dated to 1815 (£565).

Wine ewer (claret jug) in English 18th century silver.  

A fine and beautiful example of an English hallmarked sterling silver wine ewer or claret jug. In classical vase form, the body a panelled oval standing on a short leg and oval foot. Hinged lid. Hallmarked for London 1794 with makers initials 'WpelletS'. Engraved on one side of the body only with a crest of a seated lion holding a mallet surmounting large initials 'JSM'. Total height 30cms. Immaculate condition apart from a very small dent on the shaft for the handle where it joins the body of the jug. Gross weight 23ozs.

Sheffield 1924 solid silver large cream jug by WALKER AND HALL.  

Sheffield 1924 solid English hallmarked silver generously sized cream jug by famous maker Walker and Hall. In round shape, with Greek key design below rim, and leaf and foliate handle, this is a very attractive piece, as well as being very useful. Heavy at 185 grams. Size-6 inches long by 4 inches wide by 3 inches high, including handle. In very good condition.

Sheffield 1905 solid silver Art Nouveau cased set of sugar bowl, cream jug and sugar tongs, by James Deakin and Sons.  

Sheffield 1905 solid English hallmarked silver set of Art Nouveau twin handled tea service comprising sugar bowl, cream jug, and sugar tongs in original shaped fitted case by very good makers James Deakin and Sons, and retailed by famous retailer Hamilton and Co. of India. Graceful flowing repousse design is complemented by original gilt interiors. The boat shape of the sugar bowl, and helmet shape of the jug are lovely. Sizes-jug 3.74 inches wide by 2.5 inches high; sugar bowl 5 inches wide by 2.75 high; sugar tongs 3.5 inches long. All are enclosed in the original shaped and fitted case, with the only blemish being the silk in the interior lid of the case is foxed, which can be easily changed. A lovely 3 piece set of sterling silver in excellent condition.

London 1772 solid silver George III cream jug  

London 1772 solid George III English hallmarked silver cream jug standing on pedestal foot. Hand beaten punch bead decorated edges, and floral repousse body complemented by graceful leaf topped shaped handle. Very good weight and condition, and with great age at 236 years old!

19thC cut glass and silverplate claret jug  

19th century cut glass baluster shaped claret jug with cast and applied silverplate mounts in the form of trailing vines, leaves and grapes, with naturalistic twisted grapevine handle. A grape bunch and leaf form the finial, and the interior is gilded. This claret jug has superb quality and is in excellent condition. Size 10.75 inches high by 6 inches wide.

London 1875 solid silver sugar bowl and cream jug by ROBERT HENNEL.  

London 1875 solid English hallmarked silver large pair-a two handled sugar bowl, and cream jug by Robert Hennel, famous maker. The pair have lovely all over bright cut engraving, including on the handles, interesting shapes, and are heavy at 430 grams. There are cartouches to each side, one being vacant, and one bearing Laura 1876. Sugar bowl is 7.5 inches wide by 3 inches high. Cream jug is 6 inches wide by 3 inches high. An unusually beautiful pair in excellent condition.

1937 ELKINGTON Art Deco solid silver hot water jug  

Birmingham 1937 solid English hallmarked silver hot water or milk jug by famous maker, Elkington. Wonderful stylish Art Deco piece with bakelite knob and geometric handle. An excellent example of its kind. Heavy at 385 grams. Very stylish and useful, and in excellent condition. 7.5 inches high by 7 inches wide(handle to spout).
