LargeJewellery Box Art Nouveau Style

This stunning Art Nouveau style silver plated, velvet lined jewellery casket measures 9.5" (24cm) long x 7" (18cm) wide x 2.5" (6.5cm) high, is superbly made and weighs a substantial 2kg. I cannot verify the age , but the person from whom I bought it had owned it for many years, and said it was bought for her from an antique shop. It is beautifully decorated with nouveau style flowers and tendrils, and there is a vacant cartouche in the centre of the lid. Both the exterior and the interior are in pristine condition, with no signs of wear or damage. Jewellery boxes such as this rarely come onto the market, especially in this superb condition.

George III period antique coral child's necklace

Unusual antique George III period coral two tiered child's necklace, having a gilt clasp with coral button. Total length 14 inches, including clasp. Very pretty and in very good condition.

Antique Silver Jewellery Box.

Edwardian silver and velvet covered jewellery box. Serpentine shaped with rural scenes on freize. The top of the box has been beautifully restored in appropriate velvet, leaving a wonderful article. Best maker of this type of goods at the time. Chester. 1903. Nathan & Hayes. L 16cm. H 6cm.

Edwardian paste & silver locket

A most beautiful jewel from c.1900. In 900 silver, partly gilded, the front set with pastes enclosing a beautiful portrait of an elderly gentleman. The back is hinged and glazed to contain a second image. Height 1.5ins (4cms). In perfect condition.
