| A very attractive Victorian silver / mother-of-pearl fruit knife with floral pattern and the inscription "FRED", made by George Unite and bearing stamp GU and hallmarks for Sheffield 1852. Delicate border to the blade. Original case.

Condition : Excellent. Minute ding to top and tip of blade (barely perceptible)

Early 20thC set of 6 solid silver grapefruit spoons in Louis XV pattern by WHITING. |
| Prior to 1926, set of six sterling silver grapefruit or citrus spoons in the famous Louis XV pattern 1891 by Whiting Manufacturing of Massachusetts, a division of Gorham. This sterling is .925 fine, identical to the silver content of English silver.
Wonderful double struck shaped and scrolled stems lead to exquisite pointed bowl, with scalloped top edges, and soft fluting to the top part of bowl.
Approximately 5.5 inches long each.
A lovely and unusual set weighing 140 grams, and in excellent condition. |
