Dublin 1918 stunning Irish hallmarked silver egg cup and spoon by famous makers WEST & SONS in original fitted case.   

Dublin 1918 Irish hallmarked solid silver very unusual egg cup and matching spoon made and retailed by famous makers West & Son of Dublin, in the original fitted case. Of heavy gauge, and with applied design of celtic knots and interlacing spirals, the cup and beautiful matching egg spoon are rare to find. Irish silver is very sought after, due to its rarity. Weighs 65 grams. Size-cup-2 inches diameter by 2.25 inches high; spoon-4.25 inches long by 1 inch wide. In very good condition. Box cup and spoon all bear West & Sons marks. A very high quality complete and rare set for the collector of Irish silver, or a wonderful gift.

Continental silver cup and saucer; monogrammed with pretty foliate decoration and decorative handle. A charming and collectable piece. German. c1900. Diameter of saucer 7.5cm. Total height 5cm.

Antique Silver Wager Cup.  

Antique continental silver small wager cup; very pretty, good quality detail made by the master of these goods at the time, Bernard Mueller. The figure is seated on an upturned barrell holding the gimbal cup above his head, it is also very unusual for the figure to be male! Unusual, charming piece. Import mark - Chester. 1902. Height 7.75cm.

Fine Irish Georgian silver two handled cup by James Lebass , fully hallmarked Dublin 1826, retailer Law, applied foliage decoration, no damage or erasures, height8 inches , 5 & 1/4 in dia plus handles.

Art Deco Display/Trophy Cup  

This stylish solid silver Art Deco display/trophy cup was manufactured in Sheffield by Gladwin Ltd in 1936. The hallmarks are crisp and clear, and it is in very good condition, with no engraving or monograms, and never has had. It measures 4.25" (10.1cm) high by 5.75" (10.7cm) handle to handle, and the diameter of the bowl is 3.5" (9cm). This stylish and elegant cup, with its typically deco handles and classical shape would blend in with either period or modern interiors.

Edwardian Christening Cup 1905  

This very attractive Edwardian christening cup in the Queen Anne style was made by the well-known Atkin Brothers in Sheffield in 1905. It is in very good condition with no dents, damage or repairs. The interior of the bowl is gilded, a sign of quality, and it bears an inscription (see photograph), though if required this could easily be removed, as the cup is of heavy gauge silver. The hallmarks are crisp and clear, and it weighs a substantial 6.5 troy ounces (204 gr), and measures 3.25" high by 6.25" from handle to handle, the diameter of the bowl being 4.25" at the rim.

1817 STERLING SILVER CHRISTENING TYPE CUP MUG 110g / 3.8oz  

An elegant silver mug - possibly christening type - with an everted rim, and banded and plain section body on a pedestal base. The mug has a finely engraved anthemion handle, a repousée anthemion band to the upper section, and repousée flute banding to the lower section. Condition: light surface age and use wear; no damage or repairs found - if you have any questions about this item, contact me.
