Victorian half pint embossed silver cup |
| This is a superb very good quality half pint capacity Victorian sterling silver cup, hallmarked 1894, and by the very good makers Wakely and Wheeler. It has a swirl fluted lower half, and the top is deeply and beautifully embossed with a floral design on a chased matt background. It has a lovely beaded harp shaped handle and stands on a circular gadrooned base. It has a lovely gilt interior. There is a small cartouche with the discreet engraved initials EW, I think. There is also a small inscription on the bottom of the base, and hence not visible, saying From RNJ 20.10.57,
Condition: Very good. There are no dents splits or repairs.
Dimensions: 4 1/4" (11 cm) tall and 3" (7.5 cm) in diameter at the top

Arts & Crafts silver loving cup or tyg |
| This is a superb large very good quality Arts and Crafts three handled silver loving cup or tyg, hallmarked 1903. The very elegant cup is of plain silver with a round bowl and spreading circular foot. It has three beautifully applied handles and is very much in the Arts and Crafts style, and of course is exactly from that period. The handles are attached to the bowl in two places and also to the foot. The cup is of a very good gauge of silver and weighs and excellent 8 ½ oz. It was made by the excellent silversmiths John Round and Son.
Condition: There are no dents splits or repairs and the silver is virtually unscratched on the exterior and interior of the bowl. The cup stands perfectly without a wobble.
Dimensions: 4 ¾” (12 cm) tall and the bowl is 4” (10cm) in diameter

Antique Silver Wager Cup. |
| Antique continental silver small wager cup; very pretty, good quality detail made by the master of these goods at the time, Bernard Mueller. The figure is seated on an upturned barrell holding the gimbal cup above his head, it is also very unusual for the figure to be male! Unusual, charming piece.

Art Deco Display/Trophy Cup |
| This stylish solid silver Art Deco display/trophy cup was manufactured in Sheffield by Gladwin Ltd in 1936. The hallmarks are crisp and clear, and it is in very good condition, with no engraving or monograms, and never has had.
It measures 4.25" (10.1cm) high by 5.75" (10.7cm) handle to handle, and the diameter of the bowl is 3.5" (9cm).
This stylish and elegant cup, with its typically deco handles and classical shape would blend in with either period or modern interiors.

Edwardian Christening Cup 1905 |
| This very attractive Edwardian christening cup in the Queen Anne style was made by the well-known Atkin Brothers in Sheffield in 1905.
It is in very good condition with no dents, damage or repairs. The interior of the bowl is gilded, a sign of quality, and it bears an inscription (see photograph), though if required this could easily be removed, as the cup is of heavy gauge silver.
The hallmarks are crisp and clear, and it weighs a substantial 6.5 troy ounces (204 gr), and measures 3.25" high by 6.25" from handle to handle, the diameter of the bowl being 4.25" at the rim.

| An elegant silver mug - possibly christening type - with an everted rim, and banded and plain section body on a pedestal base. The mug has a finely engraved anthemion handle, a repousée anthemion band to the upper section, and repousée flute banding to the lower section.
