| NEW. A handsome pair of silver salts, with unusual Vaseline glass liners. The holders are formed with bands of scrollwork and foliate designs above floral swags, and sit on four lily pad similar feet. The glass liners are bespoke made, and each fits snugly one way round in its own holder only. Condition: age and origin of the liners unknown, no damage found to either liners or holders - if you have any questions about this item, contact me. 1865 CAYENNE PEPPER CONDIMENT BOTTLE, SILVER GILT SPOON |
| A good cut glass condiment bottle, probably for cayenne pepper, complete with a long silver gilt spoon. The bottle has a panel cut spreading upper body, pinched waist, and five section main body with alternating lens and groove cutting. The spoon has a six sided and pointed cut glass stopper top and drop shaped bowl. Condition: bottle top possibly polished down at some point; wear to the mount; spoon bowl slightly dented; losses to the gilt; spoon shaft good; no glass cracks or hairlines - if you have any questions about this item, contact me.
