VICTORIAN SILVER PLATE COFFEE POT |
| This elegant silver plate coffee pot is electro plated Britannia metal, and dates from circa 1855 - 1870. The base is clearly marked 'EPBM'.
The coffee pot is in the Georgian style and measures 8.5" to the top of the finial. It is in excellent condition, with a minimal amount of wear at the base of the handle, commensurate with age, but with no wear to the body of the coffee pot. The hinged lid fits well, with no play on the hinge, and the pot is very clean inside, wtih no staining, and could be used today for the purpose for which it was designed.
This beautiful antique would enhance a traditional or modern interior. |

| 19th century unusual Continental cast solid silver gilt set of 6 coffee spoons with rams head terminals, and lovely oval shell bowls in original green fitted case, having stunning green velvet interior.
Interesting family crest to back of terminal of each spoon.
These spoons were retailed by S.J. Phillips of Bond Street in London.

Solid Silver Coffee Pot Georgian Style |
| A stunning solid silver coffee pot in George II style manufactured by one of London's most important silversmiths, C.J. Vander. The coffee pot stands 9.25" high to the top of the finial, and weighs a substantial 22.95 troy ounces (714 grams).
The pot is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. It is not initialled or engraved, and never has been.The hallmarks are clear and legible.
C.J. Vander manufactured very high quality silver items in their Hatton Garden workshop from the 1880's, and their products were much favoured by the British aristocracy, and in more recent years, film stars.
A rare opportunity to acquire a piece of C.J. Vanders silver at a realistic price.

| London 1904 solid English hallmarked silver monogrammed 10 piece set of tea or coffee accessories made by James Wakely and Frank Wheeler, and retailed by Robinson and Co, on The Square in Shrewsbury.
The complete and matching set comprises 6 spoons, sugar bowl, milk jug and sugar tongs, and the original shaped and fitted case, lined in gathered silk and velvet, all in excellent condition.
The bowl and jug stand on hooved feet surmounted by shells.
Size of jug 4.25 inches wide by 3 inches high; bowl is 4 inches in diameter by 2.25 inches high. Fitted case total size is 11 inches wide, by 10 inches deep by 5 inches high.
A very simple and elegant design, and a most unusual gift with practical use. |
