Silver candlesticks by Barnards |
| This is a lovely elegant pair of 6 ½” tall silver circular candlesticks hallmarked 1913. They are by the top silversmiths Edward Barnard & Sons, and are in near perfect condition. They are mounted on wooden bases.
Condition: Near perfect. No dents splits nicks or any scratching. There are just a couple of extremely minor creases at the bottom of one base where the silver is mounted on the wooden base, but these are too unnoticeable to be significant.
Dimensions: 6 ½” (16.5 cm) tall and 3 1/3” (8.5 cm) in diameter at the base.

Pair of tall Victorian silver plated Corinthian column candlesticks |
| This is a very good pair of 12” tall very substantial neoclassical styles Victorian silver plated candlesticks.
The candlesticks are in the Corinthian column style, the columns with decoration of swags and bells and the square bases similarly decorated. They have removable sconces. The bases are covered in old green beize, possibly original but intact, just a little worn.
Condition: Very good. The silver plate is in excellent condition with no wear through to the silver. There are no dents splits or holes, just a couple of very minor knocks in the sides of the bases, but these are in much better condition than normally seen.
Dimensions: 12 ½” (31 cm) tall, and 5” (12.5 cm) square at the base.

1904 silver art nouveau candlesticks |
| This is a fine pair of tall silver candlesticks, art nouveau in style, made at the peak of the art nouveau period, and hallmarked 1904. They are by the very good makers Horace Woodward & Co Ltd. The candlesticks are oval in section with an oval base and V-shaped stems. They have removable sconces. The candlesticks have a lovely abstract flowing art nouveau strapwork design.
Condition: Excellent. There are no dents splits nicks or holes. The surround on the bases which very often get hard treatment are in wonderful condition, with hardly a nick.
Dimensions: 8 ½” (21 cm) tall. The bases measure 4 ½” (11.5 cm) x 3 ½” (9cm).

| Chester 1923 pair of tall solid English hallmarked silver candlesticks with tapered octagonal shape by very good makers John and William Deakin trading as Deakin and Sons.
These beautifully crafted candlesticks have truly been enjoyed, and are only in good condition due to some bruising, which makes the price extremely good for such sizeable solid silver.
Size is 10.5 inches tall by 3.75inches wide.
A very elegant and affordable pair of candlesticks from a very collectable assay office.
