Pair of large solid silver candelabra

This is a high quality pair of silver two branch candelabra hallmarked 1928 and by the very good makers James Dixon & Sons. They are of a very good gauge of silver. They have beautiful spiral leaf decorated branches and grapevine decorated sconces and bases. They have turned columns and shaped circular bases and lovely large leaf and pineapple finials. The sconces and whole branch section are removable, so that they can, if desired, be used as candlesticks. They have lead weighted bases for extra stability. Condition: Virtually perfect. There are no dents nicks splits or repairs. Dimensions: 12” (30 cm) tall and 13 ½” (34 cm) breadth. Antique Silverplated Candelabra.

Pair Victorian silverplated three-light candelabra; two rustic fruiting vine arms issuing from either side of a central light, detaching from baluster form knop columns embellished with fruiting vines, on shaped circular bases, crested. Elkington's unique dating system of marks, allows accurate dating. Magnificent articles by the foremost silverplate manufacturer of the period. Elkington & Co. 1851. Height of candlesticks 26cm. Height with branches attached 36cm. Spread of branches 44cm.

5-light silver candelabra centrepiece

A good sterling silver centrepiece in the form of a 5-l;ight candelabra with shaped embossed column holding four reeded arms culminating in embossed candle holders each with removable sconces. Hallmarkedfor Birmingham 1939. Ht.31cms - spread 40cms. ondition excellent.

Pair silver candelabra

A good pair of sterling silver candelabra hallmarked for Birmingham 1933, maker Hawkesworth, Eyre & Co. Standing on oval bases with meandering & reeded rims, the design of the removable vase shaped sconces matching the bases. Height 15ins (39cms). NB. The arms can be removed to forms a pair of single candlesticks.
