Unusual Silver Plate Sugar Bowl and Sifter Spoon  

This beautiful silver plate sugar bowl and matching sifter spoon are by the famous silversmiths the Atkin Brothers of Sheffield, and was manufactured pre-1925. The sugar bowl stands on a shallow foot, has a fixed handle and fluted body with gilt interior. The matching sifter spoon also has a gilt bowl. The sugar bowl measures 4.75" (12cm) in diameter, and the height of the body is 2.25" (6cm), the height to the top of the handle is 5" (12.5cm). The spoon measures 4" (10cm) long. Both items are in excellent condition. The base of the sugar bowl is clearly marked HA EA FA and a hand holding a Prince of Wales feathers. The spoon is also marked HA EA FA. What a delightful item for sprinkling sugar over your strawberries or dessert!

Geo IV silver sifter spoon  

A George IV silver fiddle pattern laddle with a pierced bowl, intended for sifting sugar over a bowl of soft fruit. Very clear hallmarks for London 1827, maker 'WE'. Length 18cms, condition excellent. No crest or mono.

Antique silver sugar sifter spoon  

A small sterling silver ladle with a pierced and gilded bowl and a shell embossed on the end of the otherwise plain handle. Intended for sifting sugar over a bowl of soft fruit. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1905. Length 13cms Condition excellent.
