George III Mahogany Bedside Table/Stand C1780

A very good George III ,Chippendale period mahogany tray top night stand , bedside table circa 1780 . Dimensions W=23"/58.5cm , D=19"/48cm , H of tray surface=31"/79cm . This fine example is in good original condition with ornately shaped tray top and shaped fret cut handles , freize drawer and cupboard with flame veneers and incised moulded edges to the doors (oak interor) . The lower tray as original on chamfered legs . A good example with good colour and condition . Viewing by appointed ,delivery available .

Early Georgian Oak Side Table - circa1730

An excellent Early Georgian Period Side Table. The rectangular two-plank top over a single frieze drawer, fitted with original brass swan neck handles and oval brass key escutcheon. The drawer is constructed using early large hand-made dovetail joints and sits above a decorative shaped apron. The table stands on four slender ring-turned tapering legs joined by plain stretchers on short bobbin turned feet. This piece has just been professionally hand-polished by my restorer and requires no further work what-so-ever. The finish and colour are superb. The piece has its original brass key escutcheon, replacement handles and drawer linings. The piece stands on four tapering legs, has a cross stretcher, shaped brackets, is a warm medium oak colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
