| Offered for sale is this superb quality set of six oak dining chairs consisting of two carver and four single chairs by "James Shoolbred". These are a good quality substantial set of chairs and come complete with makers plate to the underside - " James Shoolbred, Tottenham Court Road, London" , manufacturers of high quality furniture. The chairs have carved back rail with carved vertical slat and barley twist uprights above newly reupholstered drop-in seats on barley twist legs with bun feet. This good set of six oak dining chairs date from about 1910/1920 and have been cleaned, revived and waxed and are in excellent showroom condition with all joints firm and seats newly reupholstered. |
