Antique Georgian Sheraton Mahogany Tea Table

Offered for sale is this superb Georgian Inlaid Mahogany Sheraton tea table, made from the finest dense figured mahogany timbers and dating to about 1800. The top measures 39" x 18" opening out to 39" x 36". The table is extensively line inlaid with boxwood with marquetry panels, it has one central locking drawer with two dummy drawers and stands on inlaid aquare tapered supports. It is of exquisite colour with original patina having been sympathetically cleaned and waxed and comes complete with original dings and dents that add to the character of this striking piece.

Set of 8 Antique Mahogany Sheraton Style Dining Chairs

Offered for sale is fine quality set of eight Victorian Sheraton style dining chairs in excellent condition. The chairs are a lovely rich brown mahogany colour. The set of eight mahogany Sheraton style chairs have an oval shaped back with three carved splats above fluted square tapered supports with spade feet. The set of 8 antique mahogany chairs are in excellent showroom condition having been cleaned, revived and waxed along with the seats reupholstered in a cream & gold John Lewis fabric.

Georgian Mahogany Sheraton Period Chair c.1780

This is an elegant and attractive solid mahogany chair in a typically delicate Sheraton period design. The bar back chair has a well carved lattice back with fluted carving, set above a stuff-over seat, that lies over slender tapering legs, which are also fluted. The seat has been traditionally re-upholstered in horsehair and webbing and covered in an expensive fabric by Marvic in a neutral beige woven fabric overlaid with pale blue floral sprigs.
