Victorian Silk Embroidered Piano Shawl |
| Stunning, rare Victorian piano shawl in deep crimson red. Hand embroidered with birds and flowers in creamy white silk thread and a long silk fringe. It is large and pictured here laid across a king size bed. It is in excellent condition for its age.
The silk is soft and the colour is beautiful. There is one tiny hole (the size of a pinhead) and a few very small marks which we are pretty sure could be removed by professional cleaning (although they are hardly visible).
A wonderful addition to any collection, to grace a fine room or to wear for a special occasion.
