Regency Mahogany Sofa / Settee ca 1830 This beautiful antique Regency mahogany sofa / settee is unusually long, has two beautiful scrolled arms and a moulded front edge. The piece stands on four chunky turned legs with porcelain castors, has two bolster cushions, seat pad and is upholstered in a neutral coloured embossed fabric with a braid trim. The wood is a rich red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in good original condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
