Set of Six Mahogany Hepplewhite Dining Chairs
This beautiful set of six mahogany Hepplewhite style dining chairs consists of two carvers and four dining chairs. Each chair has a beautiful carved shield shaped back, splayed back legs, tapering front legs with spade feet and a H stretcher for added stability. The chairs are bow fronted, have been recently upholstered in cream striped fabric, are a rich red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, are in very good original condition and have been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
