Offered for sale is this good set of eight 1920's oak Jacobean style dining chairs consisting of eight single chairs. The chairs have a carved and shaped back rail with vertical slats and barley twist supports with turned finials above newly reupholstered overstuffed seats covered in a neutral gold John Lewis fabric. Thr front legs are united by a barley twist stretcher. This good set of eight oak dining chairs date from about 1920 and have been cleaned, revived and waxed and are in excellent showroom condition with all joints firm and seats newly reupholstered.

Offered for sale is this good set of eight early 20th century solid oak dining chairs consisting of six single and two carver chairs. The chairs have a carved back rail with shaped vertical slats above newly reupholstered drop-in seats covered in a gold John Lewis fabric on turned supports with bun feet. The chairs have a makers plate attached to the underside - a sure sign of quality. The chairs are in superb showroom condition having been cleaned, revived, waxed and upholstered with no breaks and all joints firm. All the chairs have curved carved backs, stand on tapering back legs and have beautiful turned reeded front legs with original brass and brown porcelain castors. The chairs have a moulded edges to the front and side the legs are all joined by a moulded H stretcher. The chairs are a light/medium oak colour with a striking grain, good patina, are in good original condition.
