William IV Silver Fish Server |
| A William IV silver fish server in the fiddle pattern, the blade being pierced with scrolls and with a delicate thread border. Made in 1837 by John James Whiting of London, bearing the maker's mark JW and London 1836-1837 set of hallmarks.

Pair of 1908 silver salad servers |
| This is a lovely pair of silver salad servers hallmarked 1908. They have fluted and foliate embossed bowls and are in superb condition. They are in the Old English pattern. They were made by Marples & Co which was a wholly owned subsidiary of the top makers Martin, Hall & Co.
Condition: Excellent. No dents splits nicks or repairs.
Dimensions: 9” (22 cm) long
Weight: 5 oz (140g) the pair

| Pair of Edwardian silver and mother o' pearl handled fish servers; the handles are nice and bright displaying good nacre, and the silver blades and tines are decorated with a beautiful crisp engraved pattern. Superb.

19thC pair of very good quality pierced silverplate fish servers in original case. |
| 19th century very good quality pair of fish servers in original case comprising a knife with foliate pierced blade , and a fork with pierced heel. Both have lovely solid engraved handles designed as buds emerging from bloom.
In original fitted case, which is quite scuffed to exterior.
Now still used to serve fish, but they are also often used for serving cake and pie, and the fork for meat.
A unusually lovely and versatile pair in very good condition. |

| With marks for the period 1899-1924, a solid German hallmarked silver pair of .800 fine salad servers with original gilt bowls, made by Gebruder Reiner.
Size 8.5 inches long each, and weighing 150 grams.
In very good condition, and with a nice scrolled design to the stems, these are both very useful and lovely.
Antique silver salad servers are not often found, and these are in very good condition as well. |

Below the handles, the pieces are silver plate, and also marked for William Hutton.
Sizes-10.5 and 11 inches long.
A fine quality service in original case and in very good condition.
It is unusual to find salad sets.

| Sheffield 1891 solid English hallmarked silver and ivory handled large fish servers, made by William Gibson and John Langman, the first directors of Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company, who were also the retailers of this service. They were very fine retailers, who only sold the finest silver.
The simple double thread design servers with beautifully patinated ivory handles having an interesting crest of an arm holding a dagger, are presented in the wonderful original fitted case.
Size-12.5 inches long slice, 9.75 inches long fork. Both are 2 inches wide.
In excellent condition, they have a heavy weight, and are beautifully crafted to go with any other silver pattern. |

| Victorian Oak Barley Twist Buffet / Side Server ca 1880
This beautiful Victorian oak barley twist buffet / side server has a raised shaped back above three tiers with moulded front edges and beautiful barley twist side supports. The pie has four turned finials at the top and stands on turned bun feet. The piece is a warm medium oak colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
