A good quality Late Georgian bow front chest of drawers in mahogany; excellent original condition and of a fine patinated golden colour. An elegant and beautiful piece of furniture from the golden age of cabinet-making utterly redolent of its period and as usable and useful now as it was over 200 years ago. SIZE:36 inches wide, 21 inches deep, 35 inches tall. PROVENANCE: Private Collection for the last 20 years.

Regency Mahogany Bow Front Chest of Drawers ca 1830 This beautiful antique Regency mahogany bow front chest of drawers has a flamed mahogany top above three graduating cock beaded drawers with replacement handles. The interior is lined with an early floral paper lining. The piece stands on shaped bracket feet, has original back boards, is a rich red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. Regency Mahogany Bow Front Chest of Drawers ca 1830 This beautiful Regency mahogany bow front chest of drawers has a bow front solid mahogany top with a moulded edge above a flamed mahogany frieze and ebony string inlay. The piece has three cedar wood and mahogany lined graduating bow front drawers with replacement brass pull handles from a similar period and boxwood and ebony string inlay. The piece stands on beautiful splayed bracket feet, has a shaped apron, a couple of minor old veneer repairs and original backboards. The piece is a rich red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
