| 20th century large and unusual solid silver and enamel Norwegian caddy spoon by well known maker Magnus Aase of Bergen, Norway.
Magnus Aase was active from 1876-1953. This spoon was likely made around WWII. Much silver with enamel was made in the 20th century for export, as there was quite a strong emphasis on enamel.
This .925 fineness silver spoon has a striking blue leafy enamel pattern to the stem, a wide bowl, and is in excellent condition.
Size-4.5 inches long by 1.75 inches wide bowl. Weight- 40 grams. |

Interesting pierced stem with green enamel design.

| A beautiful landscape most certainly by second generation Norwich School painter. The painting depicts a gladed river landscape with maid approaching with hills to the background . Oil on oak panel , remains of a signature (indistinct) bottom left. Here we have a small squareish format painting with exceptional detail and study of natural light .The artist has chosen a wooded canape to intensify the effect .This painting dates from circa 1815-1830 but is currenty unattritbuted .Frame 22"x 19" , painting 14"x 12" .Good condition .
