| An early 18th Century Oak Mule Chest with a hinged lid and three-panel front over two single drawers with brass handles. This is in an excellent condition with no scratches or marks and the colour is a mid / dark oak. The mule chest is a hybrid of a coffer and a chest of drawers.

This beautiful small antique period oak mule chest has a rectangular moulded lift up lid above three small oak lined drawers. The central drawer has three small secret drawers at the back, the lower section has two longer oak lined drawers with brass handles, key escutcheons and stands on beautifully shaped bracket feet. This chest is a very good marriage, is a warm medium oak colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
