Large Circular Mahogany Tilt Top Dining Table ca 1860 This beautiful large antique mahogany tilt top dining table has a circular moulded top which tilts and has its original brass mechanism and bolts. The piece stands on a beautiful turned pedestal and has tripod scrolled, carved legs with brown porcelain castors. The piece is a rich warm red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. Magnificent William IV Flame Mahogany Tilt Top Centre Table

A magnificent William IV mahogany round tilt top centre table. The top is veneered in flame mahogany and segmented in such a way that shows the pattern in superb style. It is supported by an octagonal central pillar which stands on a round base, which in turn sits on three lion paw feet. There is some splitting to the veneer on the round base which can be seen in the accompanying images (please double click the main photograph), however this is in keeping with the age of the table and does not detract from the overall beauty of the table. 19th century Victorian solid mahogany tilt top rectangular table standing on a beautifully turned column and shaped quadripartite legs. In lovely condition, and of generous size, this table is useful for dining, cards, tea, or serving. If not needed permanently, top tilts up allowing table to fit into narrow space until needed. Size 19.5 inches wide by 32 inches long by 29.75 inches high when open, or 49 inches high when table is tilted up. RESERVED.
