Antique Regency Mahogany Chiffonier

Offered for sale is this superb quality Regency mahogany chiffonier dating to about 1830. This fine chiffonier measures 1.25m tall, 0.91m wide and 0.40m deep and has a brass gallery above two brass pillars wth one drawer and two cupboard doors with brass trim and on bun feet. The two doors have flame mahogany panels enclosing one adjustable and one fixed shelf. The sides and top of the cabinet are solid mahogany with a panelled back. The drawer base has a makers stamp on it. The chiffonier is in excellent showroom condition having been cleaned and sympathetically repolished.

Antique Victorian Mahogany Chiffonier ca 1860

Antique Victorian Mahogany Chiffonier ca 1860 This beautiful antique Victorian mahogany chiffonier has a raised moulded back with beautiful scrolled carving above a rectangular top above two mahogany lined frieze drawers and two cupboard doors with arched moulding and flamed mahogany central panels. The doors have a working lock and key and the interior has one fixed shelf, a drawer with a fitted cellarette and brass swan neck handle. The piece has three beautiful scrolled carved corbels, stands on a plain plinth, has original backboards, splits into two sections, is a rich medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
