GEORGIAN MAHOGANY COD C.1800  

Georgian mahogany cod C.1800. Six drawers. Three short drawers over three long drawers. Decoration inlaid marquetry work, bone inlay to key eschusions, later brass handles. Small bookcase on cupboard  

A very tiny early 19th.cent. mahogany bookcase on cupboard, this comes into two sections and is in fine condition. Siozes: 19" wide, 14"deep, 31"high. Date: circa 1825.

Regency Mahogany Bow Fronted Chest of Drawers  

The bow fronted well grained top has a moulded edge and is above four graduated, oak lined, ebony strung drawers fitted with oval plate handles, locks and key. The whole is supported on swept feet to the front and back, with a base moulding, is a good rich colour and a most attractive design. (handles replaced) 38¼ in. (97 cm.) Wide at the feet 21¼ in. (54 cm.) Deep 34 in. (86.5 cm.) High English Circa 1810

George III Mahogany Demi-Lune Tea Table  

The hinged top, with a ‘B’ moulded edge, opens to reveal a polished interior and is supported by a back central leg, which slides out. The frieze, crossbanded in mahogany, is raised on four tapered legs, which are swept at the base, giving the table a most aesthetically pleasing design. The whole is of a mellow honey colour, of most useful proportions and retains a patination. 33½ in. (85 cm.) Wide 16¾ in. (42.5 cm.) Deep (closed) 32¾ in. (83.5 cm.) Deep (open) 29¼ in. (74.5 cm.) High English Circa 1790

Mahogany Standard End Sofa Table of the Regency Period  

The solid mahogany rectangular top, crossbanded in rosewood with boxwood and ebony stringing, has a leaf to each end, each raised on two wooden knuckle hinges. The frieze has a drawer and a false drawer to the front and back, all crossbanded in tulipwood with boxwood and ebony stringing and fitted with locks and key. The whole is raised on standard ends joined by a well-turned central stretcher, with four swept legs, which are reeded and have an acanthus decoration to the top, terminating in original brass cap castors. The whole, being of a pleasing honey colour, retains a patination. 36¼ in. (92 cm.) Wide closed 54¼ in. (138 cm.) Wide open 26 in. (66 cm.) Deep 28¾ in. (73 cm.) High English Circa 1820

George III Mahogany Kneehole Dressing Chest  

The one-piece, rectangular top, with a moulded edge, is above a single full width, oak and pine lined drawer, fitted with a lock and key, having three false drawers, cockbeaded to the front, and below three further cockbeaded drawers either side of a shallow shaped frieze drawer, above a recessed cupboard fitted with a lock and key enclosing a shaped oak shelf. The whole, fitted with attractive brass bail rococo handles, is raised on a base moulding with shaped ogee bracket feet and is of a pleasing colour with well-figured veneers and retains a patination. 34½ in. (87.5 cm.) Wide 19½ in. (49.5 cm.) Deep 30½ in. (77.5 cm.) High English Circa 1770
