A William 1V. mahogany extending dining table which extends to just over 97" standing on four reeded legs,good original colour and quality but in need of two 24" leaves and proper castors to the end of the legs.Each end of the top has a flap which drops down to make the table without the leaves join together just over the size of a pembroke table. Sizes 44" Wide X 97.5" Long X 27.5" High[wrong castors at the moment]

Offered for sale is this good mid Victorian mahogany telescopic dining table extending to approx 70" x 47.5" with one leaf. The rectangular top with shaped ends has a moulded edge above turned and reeded castored supports. The extending mechanism is the standard Joseph Fitter patented system and works very smoothly and comes complete with original handle. The table has been cleaned and sympathetically repolished whilst retaining its original character. It is in excellent showroom condition. Large Extending Solid Mahogany Dining Table This beautiful antique Victorian style solid mahogany wind out dining table was constructed in the mid 20th Century. The piece has a winding handle and mechanism and the top is moulded with two additional leaves. The piece stands on four cabriole legs with ball and claw feet and castors, would easily seat twelve people, is a rich red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
