| Victorian Mahogany Duchess Dressing Table ca 1870
This beautiful antique Victorian mahogany duchess dressing table has a shaped moulded tilting mirror with beautiful carving and is supported by two beautifully carved uprights and several mahogany lined jewellery drawers with a serpentine central section. The lower section has a shaped moulded top above a deep frieze with a central mahogany lined drawer, beautiful scrolled carved front legs and stands on a shaped moulded base with turned bun feet. The piece is a rich red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good original condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
