Set of Six Georgian Antique Mahogany Dining Chairs ca 1790
This stunning set of six antique Georgian mahogany dining chairs have raised shaped backs with beautiful moulded edges and a central flamed mahogany panel. The central carved back support has a beautiful inlaid oval central panel with boxwood string inlay. The chairs stand on splayed back legs, tapering, moulded front legs, have been newly upholstered in a neutral fabric, are a rich dark mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, are in very good condition and have been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
