Circa 1900 Edwardian figured mahogany and inlaid bowfronted corner cupboard on stand.

Circa 1900 Edwardian period beautiful bowfronted figured mahogany and inlaid corner cupboard of small proportions. Top section with two glazed bowfront doors encloses two shaped shelves. The cupboard below is comprised of two drawers with a cupboard inbetween. The whole stands on tapered legs joined with shaped stretcher, and has original lock and key. Condition is very good. One glazed door has been reglazed with perspex at some point in the past, and it could be replaced if desired. The look is not affected by this, and the price was set accordingly. Size-65.5 inches high by 26 inches wide. A very elegant, well crafted and useful piece, in ready to use condition. The small proportions will allow it to fit in any room.

It has two simulated float glass doors with arched fretwork above three drawers (but two are dummies), and below are two large panelled cupboards. It has two internal shaped shelves in the glass section & one shelf in the lower section. A very attractive Georgian mahogany corner cabinet with unusual glazing pattern to the upper section. The two parts are divided by a finely reeded moulding. The lower cupbaord has a well figured door with cross banded frame and stands on its original base. The short return pieced of the cornice have been replaced at some time and the cabinet has recently been painted inside in the traditional blue. Otherwise it is in excellent originalcondition and has keys for both doors. Date: c. 1800 Dimensions: 79 1/2" tall, 31" wide.
