George II Mahogany Side /Tea Table C1750  

A very good example of a George II period mahogany tea/Side table circa 1750 . Dimensions W=31"/79cm , H=28"/71cm , D=1538cm . This good example from the early mahogany period has an inverted breakfront frieze with cockbeaded drawer . The solid cuban mahogany top folds over in the early tea table design . It stands on fine cabriolet legs with fine carved leaf detail to the tops which end on club feet . Good original condition for over 250 years having minor veneer replacements here and there to frieze . Viewing welcome . Delivery available .

19th century Georgian walnut and mahogany gentlemans portable chest.  

From a large home in Sussex, with many family antiques, a 19th century Georgian mahogany and walnut inlaid gentlemans portable chest having a rising lid with fitted interior containing lidded velvet lined compartments with ivory knobs above a removable leather topped writing slope, containing a slide out pen tray and ink drawer including original cast brass topped inkwells. A fitted drawer is found next to writing slope. The middle largest compartment also lifts out to reveal another similar compartment below. Fine dove tail construction, original brass fittings, ivory escutcheon, and the original lock and key complete the chest. A very unusual, beautifully crafted and complete antique Georgian chest, very suitable for jewellery, watches or any small items. This would probably have been a bespoke chest, and would have been very expensive when made. Size-16 inches wide by 11 inches deep by 7 inches high (closed). In excellent condition. SOLD

Georgian Mahogany Blanket Box with Drawer  

Large Georgian mahogany blanket box with one long drawer in the base. Constructed from solid mahogany throughout with a pine lined drawer, the box retains its original finish and has excellent patination from years of use. No loose joints, the top sits nice and flat when closed and no significant damage anywhere on this item. The feet are later replacements but you can't tell whithout getting down on your hands and knees! The drawer runs smoothly and has genuine Georgian brass handles but not the originals. Theres a working key for the drawer but not for the top although the original lock is present and intact. Price £250.00 reasonable offers considered - telephone us on 01454 228800 9am to 9pm. Georgian Mahogany Chest  

A good small Georgian mahogany chest in the Sheraton style with swept bracket feet and attractive serpentine apron.The front is particularly well figured and the drawers are edged with ebony stringing. The top is of good colour and has a finely reeded edge. The chest is in comlpetely original condition except for the handles which even so are correct in style and of the same age as the chest. Dimensions: 36 1/2" (w) x 34 1/2" x 20"

Georgian Mahogany Chest of Drawers ca 1760 This beautiful Georgian mahogany chest of drawers has a rectangular moulded top above two over three graduating cock beaded drawers with original brass key escutcheons and turned mahogany knobs. The piece stands on beautiful shaped bracket feet, has original back boards, is a rich medium/dark mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
