Beautiful antique regency mahogany Demi Lune card / games table is D ended with boxwood string inlay. The top opens up to double the size and has a green base interior. The lower section has a deep frieze with central oak lined drawer. The piece stands on four tapering legs with spade feet and boxwood inlay and the two rear legs have a gate leg action to support the top. The piece is a warm rich red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

This beautiful antique Georgian mahogany card / games table has a rectangular moulded top which unfolds to double in size and has a green baize interior. The piece has a deep frieze with a moulded lower edge and four moulded legs. The top is marked due to age and use and the piece is a light golden mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

| George III period, early 19th century solid mahogany English fold over top card table standing on tapered legs, having an overall lovely grain, colour and patina, with a nice beaded edge to the frieze, a good sign of quality.
The two back legs fold out, and the top folds over to provide a baize lined surface for games or dining.
The baize lined interior is in good functional condition. If new baize is preferred however, it can be professionally replaced at a cost of £65.00.
Size- a generous 36 inches wide by 16.5 inches deep by 28.75 inches high.
A lovely very useful antique card table in very good condition, having great age, and offered at an excellent price. |
